The first episode in 2022
The year is almost halfway over though...lol
My hasband left to next step and we live sepalately now.
My daughter turned 8.
She started to go swimming club,and cram school.(I found she is struggling with study,,,)
My son is in the last grade of elementaly school.
He decided to join to the volleyball club.
We bought a house.
Now it's been renovated(finally!!)
A lot of things happened in this year.
What's coming next?
And I don't know what is the best answer.
Sports day in Keihoku 2021
We went to Keihoku and had a sports festival same as last year!!
There were 6 families,10adults and 9 children joined this year!
The place used be school,and it's used for accomodation.
When we were univercity students,we visited there every year as club's events.
Last year,we visited there for the first time in 15years.
Sports festival is one of the most common events in elementary school,but due to this COVID-19 pandemic,kids couldn't have many school events.So,we planned Sports festival by ourselves which we started last year.
We di running,dancing,obstacle racing,relay,and so on!
As a adults,usually I don't sprint,so my body is aching!Maybe all adults feel the same way.
After that,we enjoyed BBQ,drinking,and stayed the night!
After we graduated from our univercity,we kept in touch and remained to have a good relationship, and our children are also friends.
I wonder until when our kids will come and play with us,parents?
I hope we will enjoy next yeat,too!
Children grow up so quickly,so we don't know we can beat them next year.
Silver week ２０２１
Last week,we had silver week.Silver week is not specific week,the week which has many holidays in Autumn is called "Silver week".
Last week,we had days off on Monday and Thursday.
Last weekend was 3 consective holidays,so we went camping again!
It was rainy on the first day,so there was no one but us.
On Sunday,we got up really early in the morning,and went to the port.I herad a fresh fish market is held every Sunday early morning there.It is usually for vendors,but on Sunday,they are open for ordinary people.But unfortunatlly,the market is closed on 3rd Sunday every month and it was a day.I didn't know that...
Instead of buying,we switced to do fishing.
There was a big fishing park,so Haruka and his dad tried to do fishing!
Of course,we had to pay some money,but it's better than no catching.
As a result,they cought 5 sea breams.
We had them for our dinner!As sashimi,grilled fish and cooked with rice.
On Monday,it was really nice weather,so we enjoyed playing at the river next to camping ground.The river was so great and calm,water was really clean.There were so many fish.We tried to catch them but they were so fast.
Kids enjoyed swimming as well.
We visited there for the first time,it was on the midway tfrom our house to our home town though.
I'd like to go there again!!
The best thing was,we had the nice camping ground to ourself!
It was so nice trip!!Other than we've having a lot of mosquito bites.
Autmun is the best season for trip in Japan!Where should we go next week?
Nagano
It's September!!
Summer vacation has finished last week,and our daily life got back normal again.
When I look back my summer,we couldn't enjoy enough due to pandemic as well as weather.
But shrot trip to Nagano was really great.It was the best thing in this sammer.
During Obonholiday,We usualy visit our hometowns to see our family.
This year,we went to Nagano on our way to my hometown!I know we took long way anyway.
There were some places where I've always wanted to go.
I stayed at Komagane city.It was really beautiful city between Japan Alps and famous for senjyojiki cirque and the cable car to there.
I wanted to go up by cable car,but when we arrived there,it started raining due to typhoon.So my wish didn't come true.I have to go there again.
But thanks to the bad weather,There were less people than usual.
We enjoyed having lunch,foot spa at the Suwa lakeside,and walking around traditional old town.There were many famous sake breweries and some interesting stores.
Nagano is also famous for their fresh vegitables and various fruits.We bought a lot of them at the market.
It was really short stay at Nagano,so we couldn't go to other famous tourists spots,like Matsumoto,so I'd like to visit again.
Hopefully,in good weather!
Tottori
Last weekend,we had 4 consective holidays!So we went to Tottori to visit Tottori sand dunes.
It is the biggest possible sightseeing dune in Japan.
I went there for the first time in 15years!I'v always wanted to take my kids here!
It was hot day,but the wind felt nice.
We enjoyed walking around and climbing sand dune.
We stayed at the unique guest house located near the Togo pond.Some local artists and consultants have organized there and the area for tourists and local to enjoy.
Around there,there were some interesting stores and cafes,but unfortunately we couldn't visit any...so I'd like to back there again.
Next day,we move to Daisen area.We stayed at the camping ground for 2 nights,where many kids play on the athletic equipments and events,so kids never got tired of!
On the third day,we went to Mt.Daisen.Mt.Daisen is 1706m tall,and one of the 3 greatest mountains in Japan.Apparently,it's too tough to climb,so we enjoyed hiking just half way.Kids did really well,and we enjoyed nice view and hiking.
During camping,we also enjoyed meal especially BBQ!
On the last day of our trip,before heading to Kyoto,we dropped by milk farm and had soft ice!
It was a nice relaxing trip!
I'd like to visit Tottori again soon!
